This is quite a large update, and it's possible that you may lose a few of your previous settings. Specifically, in the font section. Be sure to check and make sure everything is still correct.
Most modern browsers now include support for the CSS @font-face property, which allows you to upload your own TTF, OTF, or EOT font files to use for any text on your site. We've made it easy for you to use your properly-licensed font files with your PhotoPressPro Platinum theme. Just upload the font file you want to see on each Fonts page (Post title, Subtitles, Menu, Content Text, and Footer). You must upload a separate EOT font file for Internet Explorer users.
Note that some font files seem to be incompatible with CSS embedding. We've had great luck with all the fonts from FontSquirrel, and they have best online font converter we've found here.
Located under Images > Post Thumbnail, you can now upload a thumbnail to be anchored to the left or right of your post title. Plus, WordPress 2.9 introduced its own Post Thumbnails feature. You can upload a thumbnail for each post on the right side of the post editor, and PhotoPressPro will use this image instead of the default Post Thumbnail.
Note that the post thumbnail may not work well with centered post titles and subtitles.
Those blasted dots around the your footer links can now be gone forever! Or simply replaced with a dotted, dashed, or solid line of your chosen width and color. Check it out under the Colors > Footer tab on your PPP Control Panel.
This never works in Internet Explorer anyway (well it kinda does but it breaks other things so it's not enabled). But for those users living in "the now", you can make your menu as transparent as you want. Check it out under the Colors > Menu tab on your PPP Control Panel.
This is for your web designer. Adds several standard WordPress CSS classes to each post, allowing a fine degree control over the styling of every post and page.
Added a new option under Layout > Timestamp to include your Subtitle or After Post timestamp on your Pages as well.
Your post and page titles are now wrapped in both h1 and h2 tags depending on context, rather than just h2 tags, for better search engine optimization. For example, when a search engine reads a single post, it will see your post title as a more accurate title of the page, instead of a subtitle.
Ok, you can have comments back on your pages now. Sorry bout that.

Removed Timestamps from pages. We accidentally added the new timestamps to pages as well as posts.
Fixed links to tags with multiple words. Thanks to Meg Fish for showing me, and sorry I blamed WordPress first. :)

Configurable Timestamps. You can now show the post date underneath the title! Or, show the author, time, categories, or tags there. Or show any, all, or none of these after the post.
Set your own font size. Instead of small, medium, or large, enter a custom pixel size for any font on your blog.
Menu fixes. Large widgets, such as contact forms, should now look correct in the dropdown menu.
CSS/IE tweaks. Those of you using Internet Explorer should have a slightly better looking Control Panel. Those using Firefox or Safari will have a far better looking Control Panel.

- Added "Hide default avatar" to the Layout > Comments admin panel. Choosing the "blank" default avatar in WordPress settings leaves a big blank box in place. Hide that by turning on this option. Avatars on commenters that have one will still show up.
- Added "Footer headings color" to allow you to set a different color for the headings on the footer of your blog.
- Fixed footer links to be bold only when text is bold.
- Fixed the tab-index when many comment forms are on the same page.
- Fixed some padding around the comment avatar.
- Fixed some out-of-place separator dots.

PhotoPressPro Platinum is a major upgrade from PhotoPressPro 1.3. Read on for a short description of some of the new features.
You can now save a draft of your current settings without permanently saving them, and see a preview. Click the Save Draft button to save a special snapshot called "Preview". Then click the Preview button. NOTE: The Preview snapshot is also saved when you upload or delete an image on the control panel.
Choose from 20 of the web's most popular fonts. Get complete control over your typography for headers, post text, footer text, and the navigation menu. You can now choose to add bold, italic, uppercase, lowercase, or smallCaps properties, or change the alignment.
Incredible control over the look and feel of your comments. Choose to show and hide comments on the home page, without an extra plugin. Place the comment form underneath the comments, or on either side. And change the border, background, and text color of the comment section, or each comment.
Choose to show a header image AND a slideshow, side-by-side, or stacked. Choose to place your menu on top of the header, below it, or between the header and slideshow. Also, change the height of the menu. Add a margin to the top or bottom of your blog, and choose whether to show the side drop-shadow images on the sides of the blog.
The About Me box is no longer in the bottom-right of the footer. Now it is a full-width box that can be hidden, or placed before all posts in the content area, or in the top or bottom of the footer. Plus, the bio image is no longer a fixed size, so it will show the full size image that is uploaded.
The Footer now has 3 widget-ready areas, all the same width.
This feature is recommended for web designers, or if you are familiar with CSS code. The my.css file can be edited to add even more customization to your blog. This file is not shipped with PhotoPressPro Platinum, so you won't lose your changes by updating the theme. You can simply rename the included my.sample.css file to my.css to get started. (I recommend using the Firefox browser with the Firebug plugin to help find id and class names.)
